<p>THE STRENGTH OF THE MAXIMUM DOSE OF DIOSMIN<br />IS ENOUGH 1 TABLET A DAY!<br />Contains micronized diosmin, a substance with broad effects and a good safety profile. Micronization of diosmin significantly increases its absorption.<br />Diosmin contained in DIOSMINEX treats the symptoms of CVI (chronic venous insufficiency) because:<br />DIOSMINEX MAX, 1000mg, coated tablets, 30 tablets, 60 tablets<br />Each film-coated tablet contains 1000 mg of micronized diosmin (Diosminum). Excipients with known effect: lactose monohydrate (80 mg in a film-coated tablet) and sunset yellow lake (0.063 mg in a film-coated tablet).</p>
<p>DIOSMINEX 500 mg, coated tablets, 60 tablets<br />Each coated tablet contains 500 mg of diosmin (Diosminum) in micronized form. Excipients with known effect: Diosminex contains lactose monohydrate and sunset yellow lake.</p>
<p>USE<br />DIOSMINEX MAX, 1000 mg, coated tablets, 30 tablets, 60 tablets<br />Dosage<br />Treatment of symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency: The recommended dose is 1 tablet once daily with a meal. Treatment should last for at least 4-5 weeks.</p>
<p>Symptomatic treatment in case of exacerbation of symptoms related to hemorrhoids: In case of exacerbation of symptoms related to hemorrhoids, the recommended dose is 3 tablets a day for the first 4 days, and then 2 tablets a day for the next 3 days. Treatment should be short-term. If the symptoms do not subside quickly, a proctological examination should be performed and the treatment should be adjusted according to the results.</p>
<p>Special patient groups: There are no dosage studies in elderly patients and in patients with renal and/or hepatic impairment. Based on available data, there is no particular risk in elderly patients with impaired renal and/or hepatic function.</p>
<p>Children and adolescents: No data.</p>

<p>Symptomatic treatment in case of exacerbation of symptoms related to hemorrhoids – In case of exacerbation of symptoms related to hemorrhoids, the dose is 6 tablets a day for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets a day for the next 3 days.</p>
<p>Method of administration<br />Diosminex should be taken orally with meals.</p>

<p>OTHER INFORMATIONS<br />Pharmaceutical form: Coated tablet. The coated tablets are green, oblong, biconvex, with a smooth surface, without spots or damage.</p>
<p>Indications for use: Treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous circulation insufficiency in adults: feeling of heaviness in the legs; legs pain; night leg cramps. Symptomatic treatment in case of worsening symptoms related to hemorrhoids in adults.</p>
<p>Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed.</p>
