Dosage

The gel should be applied externally, topically to the skin. The dosage of Naproxen Hasco is approximately 1 cm of gel, which should be rubbed into 1 cm of the skin of the painful area. The medicine should be applied 4 or 5 times a day, then wash your hands unless they are the area being treated.
Action
Naproxen contained in the drug belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used locally and has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. The drug also contains levomenthol and chlorate hydrate. The first of these substances causes a feeling of cold on the skin and locally dilates blood vessels, which facilitates the penetration of the active substance into diseased tissues. In addition, levomenthol has a local anesthetic. Chloral hydrate also helps dilate blood vessels.
Indications
Naproxen Hasco is prescribed for muscle pain and inflammation associated with: osteoarthritis and injuries to joints, tendons or soft tissues.
Contraindications
Naproxen Hasco should not be used by people with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
After using the drug, local skin reactions may occur: increased sensitivity, redness, irritation, usually reversible after discontinuation of the drug. With long-term use over large areas of the skin, side effects due to the general effects of naproxen may occur (for example, nausea, diarrhea, drowsiness, headaches, hypersensitivity reactions). Photosensitivity reactions are possible. Rarely, erythema, itching and burning may occur. If shortness of breath or skin lesions occur, treatment should be started immediately.

Warnings and Precautions
In patients with gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding diathesis, caution should be exercised when treating with Naproxen Hasco, since the active substance can be absorbed into the bloodstream. When using the gel on large surfaces and for a long time, systemic adverse reactions may occur.
Avoid accidental contact of the gel with the eyes or mucous membranes.
Do not use the drug on damaged skin, inflamed skin or open wounds.
The drug may cause sensitivity to sunlight (including solariums), so UV exposure should be avoided during treatment with Naproxen Hasco and for 2 weeks after treatment.
Caution should be exercised in people with hepatic and/or renal impairment.
The gel contains propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which may cause hypersensitivity skin reactions.
Store in a closed container at a temperature below 25°C.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
Taking other medications
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or may be taking any other medicines, including over-the-counter medicines.
To date, naproxen applied topically to the skin has not been observed to interact with other medications. However, with prolonged use of the drug on large surfaces of the skin, the occurrence of such interactions cannot be completely excluded.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
The drug should not be used in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, except in cases recommended and supervised by a physician, after careful consideration of the potential benefits of use.
