“Compound
The active substance is vitamin A (Retinoli Palmitas).
1 gram of ointment contains 800 IU of vitamin A.
Excipients: All-rac-α-tocopherol; White Vaseline; Cetyl alcohol; Lemon flavor AR0298; Distilled water.
Dosage
The medicine should be applied topically.
Usual dosage: lubricate the affected skin surface 1-2 times a day.
Protectively: Apply a thin layer of ointment to skin surfaces exposed to harmful weather conditions.
Acute conditions: the ointment can be applied several times a day.
Action
Vitamin A is necessary to maintain the proper condition of the epidermis and mucous membranes, and also ensures the differentiation and proper functioning of epithelial tissue. The ointment applied to damaged skin tissues protects them, and the vitamin A it contains is available to the tissues in the area of damage. This action promotes tissue regeneration and healing, reduces peeling and keratinization of the epidermis. Contraindications
The drug should not be used: if the patient is hypersensitive to vitamin A or other ingredients of the drug; if during therapy the patient uses astringents and drying cosmetics.
Do not use on mucous membranes.
