“Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to eparinoide or to any of the excipients.
Dosage
Pierce the tube membrane with the capsule plug.
Cream:
Unless otherwise prescribed, apply 3-5 cm of cream to the affected area 2-3 times a day (if necessary, even more in applications) and massage lightly until the cream is absorbed. In case of inflammation, especially in patients, and in the presence of thrombosis, apply Hirudoid 40000 U. I. cream with caution on all exposed skin of the victim, as well as around it, and cover with cotton gauze or similar. In these cases, the therapeutic effect of Hirudoid 40000 U. I. cream can be enhanced by rubbing even the most distant parts.
Gel:
Unless otherwise prescribed, 3-5 cm of gel 2-3 times daily. Hirudoid 40000 U. I. gel is suitable for use in fisioterapeutiche methods such as iontophoresis and phonophoresis. In case the technique with ionoforetica is used, it is applied to the cathode.
Warnings
External use; If sensitization phenomena occur, which can occur with the use of lingering products for cutaneous use, treatment must be discontinued. Hirudoid 40000 U.I. gel and cream contain alcohol between the excipients and, therefore, should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes. Hirudoid 40000 U.I. gel contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation.”
