“Composition
1 ml of oral suspension contains: active substance: 40 mg of ibuprofen and excipients, including: liquid maltitol.
Dosage
For oral administration.
The package includes a dispenser in the form of a 5 ml syringe with a scale for easy dosing.
Pain and fever: the daily dose of Ibuprom for Children Forte is 20 to 30 mg/kg body weight in divided doses.
The dosage regimen using the dispenser included in the package can be achieved as follows:
Infants from 3 to 6 months (5 – 7.6 kg): 1.25 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to 150 mg ibuprofen/day).
Infants from 6 to 12 months (7.7 – 9 kg): 1.25 ml 3 to 4 times a day (corresponding to 150-200 mg of ibuprofen/day).
Children from 1 to 3 years (10 – 15 kg): 2.5 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to 300 mg of ibuprofen/day).
Children from 4 to 6 years (16 – 20 kg): 3.75 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to 450 mg ibuprofen/day).
Children from 7 to 9 years (21 – 29 kg): 5 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to 600 mg ibuprofen/day).
Children from 10 to 12 years (30 – 40 kg): 7.5 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to 900 mg of ibuprofen/day).
Adults and children over 12 years of age: the recommended dose for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever is 10 ml three times a day until the symptoms disappear.
There should be a break between doses of 6 to 8 hours.

Indications
Fever of various origins; pain of various origins, mild to moderate.
Contraindications
Do not use in patients who have ever had symptoms of allergy in the form of a runny nose, urticaria or bronchial asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not use in the third trimester of pregnancy and in active peptic ulcer disease.
