The product is an oral suspension with strawberry flavor.
Composition
The active substance is: paracetamol.
5 ml of suspension contains 240 mg of paracetamol.
Other ingredients (excipients): sucrose, xanthan gum (E 415), citric acid monohydrate (E 330), sodium benzoate (E 211), sodium metabisulfite (E 223), natural strawberry flavor AR 2143 (contains natural aromatic substances, in including d-limonene and glycol
propylene), purified water.
Dosage

The drug is administered orally.

Action
Paracetamol Hasco Forte has antipyretic and analgesic properties.
Indications
Fever and pain of various origins and ailments accompanying the body’s reaction to the vaccine. Additionally, Paracetamol Hasco Forte is used in infants from 0 to 3 months of age (weighing up to 4 kg) for the symptomatic treatment of fever lasting no longer than 3 days and mild to moderate pain.
Contraindications
When not to use Paracetamol Hasco Forte:
if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
if you suffer from severe liver failure or viral hepatitis.
if you suffer from severe kidney failure.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rare side effects (affects 1 to 10 patients in 10,000): allergic skin reactions (urticaria, erythema, dermatitis).
Very rare side effects (affecting less than 1 patient in 10,000): decrease in platelet count, decrease in leukocyte count, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, liver dysfunction.
Warnings and precautions
Do not use with other medicines containing paracetamol due to the risk of overdose.
In case of overdose, consult a doctor immediately, even if you feel well.
Do not use for longer than 3 days without a doctor’s recommendation.
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at temperatures below 25oC.
Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Concomitant use of paracetamol with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) increases the risk of renal dysfunction. Paracetamol used simultaneously with inhibitors
MAO may cause agitation and high temperature.
The absorption of paracetamol is accelerated by drugs that accelerate gastric emptying (e.g. metoclopramide, domperidone) and delayed by drugs that delay gastric emptying (e.g. cholestyramine).
The use of paracetamol in combination with zidovudine may cause neutropenia.
Salicylamide increases the excretion time of paracetamol.
The use of paracetamol may cause false results in some laboratory tests (e.g. blood glucose levels).
