The active substance xylometazoline hydrochloride has vasoconstrictor properties and thereby reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.
Application areas:
to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in colds, episodic rhinitis (vasomotor rhinitis) and allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).
to facilitate the outflow of secretions in case of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and otitis (catarrh of the middle ear tube) in combination with a runny nose.
The medicine is intended for school-age children and adults.
Dosage
The recommended dose is
School-age children and adults can instill 1-2 drops in each nostril up to 3 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage and duration of use.
Duration of use
Do not use the medicine for more than 7 days. Repeated use should be carried out only after a break of several days. The duration of use in children should always be consulted with a doctor.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used
if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredients of this medicine.
