“Active Ingredients: Lidocaine / Epinephrine
It is used for all types of local anesthesia in dentistry, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, obstetrics, gynecology, surgery, dermatology.
Dosage:
The dosage is adjusted depending on the patient’s response and the injection site. The lowest concentration and the lowest dose that produces the desired effect should be used (see section “Contraindications”). The maximum single dose of lidocaine when taken with adrenaline is 500 mg.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1, or to amide-type local anesthetics.
Hypersensitivity to methyl and/or propyl parahydroxybenzoate (methyl/propylparaben) or their metabolite para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA). The use of lidocaine preparations containing parabens should be avoided in patients with an allergy to ether local anesthetics or their metabolites PABA.
The use of a vasoconstrictor is contraindicated during anesthesia of the fingers, toes, tip of the nose, ears and penis.”
