Mercryl foaming solution is a local antiseptic medicine . It is indicated for the cleaning and adjunctive treatment of skin and mucous membrane conditions that are infected or at risk of becoming infected.
Mercryl is composed of two antiseptics: Chlorhexidine digluconate 0.200 g (as chlorhexidine digluconate solution 1.065) and Benzalkonium chloride 0.500 g (as benzalkonium chloride solution 0.985g) per 100 ml of solution. The other constituents are 30% alkyldimethylbetaine solution, ethylene oxide and propylene oxide copolymer, hydroxyethylcellulose, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate and purified water.
