The dietary supplement provides vitamin D in the form of delicious lozenges with an exotic pineapple flavor. The pleasant sweet taste of the pastilles is given by Finnish xylitol (a substance of plant origin obtained from birch) and steviol glucosides (derived from stevia, a South American plant with a very low glycemic index, 300 times sweeter than sugar). Eating foods that contain xylitol instead of sugar helps to preserve tooth mineralization.
