Dosage
Adults, including older people (over 65 years): 50 mg per kg body weight per day (usually 1 g, i.e. 1 tablet 3 times a day). Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.
Children over 1 year of age: 50 mg per kg of body weight per day, in several doses. For children who cannot swallow tablets, it is recommended to give Neosin forte in syrup.
Treatment usually lasts from 5 to 14 days. It is recommended to continue taking the drug for 1 to 2 days after the symptoms of the disease disappear. In children and adolescents with reduced immunity: the drug should be used 10 days a month for the next 3 months.
