Otrivin nasal drops are a preparation that opens the nose and helps get rid of a runny nose. Its formula contains xylometazoline hydrochloride and is effective in treating excessive nasal congestion that can occur during colds, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and hay fever. Otrivin narrows dilated blood vessels, thanks to which it reduces congestion of the mucosa and reduces the symptoms of inflammation. The product also facilitates nasal breathing and increases the outflow of secretions, and thanks to the moisturizing properties of a specially developed formula, it additionally prevents drying of the mucosa.
