Paracetamol Galena in the form of syrup is an analgesic and antipyretic drug intended especially for children. It can be given to infants from 3 months of age. Paracetamol Galena is used in pain of various origins of low and medium severity and in the case of fever in colds and flu-like conditions. The syrup has the smell of forest fruits. A dosing scoop is attached to the package, which makes it easier to measure the right dose of the drug.
Indications:
Pain of various origins of low and medium intensity (headache, toothache, muscle pain, joint pain, menstrual pain, neuralgia and others).
Fever in colds and flu-like conditions.
Dosage:
Children: The recommended single dose is 10 to 15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of the child’s body weight, not more frequently than every 4 hours, up to 4 times a day.
– The maximum daily dose for children is 60 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of body weight.
– The dosage is based on the child’s weight.
– In children under 3 months of age, Paracetamol Galena should not be used without consulting a doctor.
– Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.
Adults: The recommended single dose is 0.3 g to 1.0 g of paracetamol (12.5 ml to 41.6 ml of syrup), not more often than every 4 hours, up to 4 times a day.
– The maximum daily dose is 4 g of paracetamol (166.7 ml of syrup) per day. Larger doses are toxic.
– Do not use for more than 3 days in case of fever and 5 days in case of pain without medical advice.
Method of administration: orally.
