Phytotux Syrup is a traditional herbal medicine recommended for the adjunctive treatment of benign acute bronchial conditions, in adults but also in children over 6 years old.
Composition of Phytotux syrup Lehning
Its active substances are Tolu Balsam ( Myroxylon balsamum L. Harms var balsamum ) (1.14 mg per 5 ml of syrup) and Ipeca root tincture ( Cephaelis ipecacuanha ) (0.0996 mL per 5 ml of syrup).
The solvent is ethanol 65% V/V. The drug/solvent ratio is 1:10.
Its other components are sorbitol (70% solution), ethanol, purified water, orange blossom flavored water, poppy fluid extract, wild thyme fluid extract, potassium sorbate, hydroxyethylcellulose, and citric acid monohydrate.
