Proctosedon has multidirectional effects due to the composition of active substances. Hydrocortisone has an anti-inflammatory effect, cinchocaine has a local anesthetic, neomycin – a type of antibiotic with a broad antibacterial spectrum (prevents secondary infections and treats infections caused by staphylococci and Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to its action), esculin reduces swelling and stops vascular bleeding. The active substances are responsible for reducing inflammation, pain, itching and bleeding.”
