Protego Sodium Butyrate 300 is a food for special medical purposes containing sodium butyrate including butyric acid. The product is intended for adults and children over 7 years of age.
Composition
Sodium butyrate, maltodextrin, capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, gellan gum), anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide.

Product properties
Butyric acid is the basic energy material for the gastrointestinal epithelium, therefore the product is recommended for dietary management of intestinal hypersensitivity, intestinal microflora disorders and diarrhea after antibiotic therapy.
How to use
Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, morning and evening. It is recommended to use for at least 3 months.
Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule once a day, preferably in the evening. It is recommended to use for at least 6 weeks
Safety Warnings
The product is not intended for parenteral use.
Contraindications and precautions
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
Do not use in children with swallowing disorders or when swallowing is difficult.”
