“Composition
100g contains: liquid extract (1:1) from: coltsfoot leaf, elderberry flower, linden inflorescence and willow bark (25:30:30:15), currant concentrate – 5.0 parts, currant juice aroma condensate – 0.5 parts, sucrose – 60.0 parts, purified water – 24.5 parts. The syrup contains up to 1% (m/m) ethanol.
Dosage
Children from 1 to 2 years of age 1 teaspoon 2 times a day. Children from 2 to 3 years of age: 1 teaspoon 3 times a day. Children over 3 years of age 1 teaspoon 4 times a day.
Adults take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day. The medicine should not be used alone in children under 1 year of age.
Action
It affects the thermoregulation center and stimulates sweat glands, increasing heat loss thanks to the synergistic effect of the active substances contained in the preparation. The central action is due to the salicin contained in the preparation and its esters, which are converted to salicylic acid, while the remaining ingredients of the drug have a diaphoretic effect. The preparation causes sweating and lowers body temperature. Pyrosal is free of preservatives and contains only beneficial and health-friendly components for your child.
Indications
An antipyretic agent used as an aid in colds, with anti-inflammatory and diaphoretic properties, especially in angina, flu, pharyngitis and bronchitis.
