SEA-BAND works by applying pressure to an acupressure point (called the Nei Kuan point) on both wrists. The effect is felt even after a few minutes. SEA-BAND bracelets suppress the symptoms of motion sickness without causing drowsiness or other side effects. They have also proven effective in combating nausea caused by causes such as pregnancy, general anesthesia or chemotherapy.
SEA-BAND can be used repeatedly or worn continuously, and can be hand washed with soap or other mild detergent. If swelling occurs, the bandages should be removed. How to use
Place your three middle fingers on the inside of your wrist with the edge of the third finger just below the first wrist line. The Nei Kuan point is located under the first (index) finger between the two palpable tendons of the wrist.
Wear the bracelet with the pressure button facing your wrist, exactly at the Nei Kuan point. Repeat the action on the other wrist. For optimal results, wear the bracelets on both wrists at the same time.
