The active ingredient of the drug is dexketoprofen (Dexketoprofenum).
1 film-coated tablet contains 36.90 mg of dexketoprofen with trometamol, which corresponds to 25 mg of dexketoprofen.
Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), glycerol distearate. Shell (Opadry Y-1-7000 coating): hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol/PEG 400.
Dosage
The medicine is taken orally, washing down the tablet with an appropriate amount of water. Dectin is taken after meals, which reduces the likelihood of side effects associated with the stomach or intestines. For acute pain, film-coated tablets can be taken 30 minutes before meals. The period of use of the drug should be limited only to the time of onset of symptoms.
The dosage for adults should be adjusted depending on the intensity and duration of pain. The usual dose is 1/2 tablet every 4–6 hours or 1 tablet every 8 hours. The maximum daily dose is 3 film-coated tablets.
Action
The medicine contains dexketoprofen, which is a non-al anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Dectin has an analgesic effect.
Indications
The indication for use of Dectin is the short-term treatment of mild and moderate pain of various origins, for example, muscle, dental and menstrual pain.
Contraindications
Do not use Dectin if:
if you are allergic to dexketoprofen or any other part of the drug;
hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs;
people suffering currently or in the past from asthma, acute allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, rash, angioedema, wheezing after using acetylsalicylic acid;
patients who have experienced photosensitivity, photoallergic or phototoxic reactions in the past when taking ketoprofen or fibrates;
people with stomach and/or duodenal ulcers or bleeding from the stomach or intestines, ulcers or perforations, especially if they occurred after using NSAIDs;
patients with intestinal diseases with chronic inflammation, severe heart failure, moderate or severe renal failure, severe liver dysfunction;
patients with excessive bleeding tendency or bleeding disorders, or severe dehydration.”
