“Strepfen tablets relieve sore throat, especially when swallowing, and soothe inflammatory swelling of the throat, which is accompanied by diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx of bacterial or viral origin. They are also used as an aid in the treatment of sore throat (tonsillitis) and inflammation of the pharynx (pharyngitis). They quickly dissolve in the mouth (within 5-10 minutes) and have a calming effect after just 2 minutes of use. The onset of action, that is, the reduction of pain and swelling in the throat, should occur within 22 minutes after taking the lozenge and last from 4 to 6 hours.
Mode of application
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 lozenge (let it dissolve slowly in the mouth) up to 5 times a day with an interval of 3 to 6 hours. It is best to suck lozenges after eating. If you do not feel better within 3 days or if you feel unwell, you should consult a doctor.
Ingredients
The active ingredient is flurbiprofen (8.75 mg in one lozenge).
Excipients: macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide (E525), liquid orange flavor (contains natural and ready-made aromatic substances, triacetin (E1518)), levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, maltitol solution (E965), isomalt (E953).
Important Note
Taking the drug during pregnancy is possible only in the 1st and 2nd trimesters; it is also possible to take it during breastfeeding, but use should always be consulted with a doctor.
During treatment with Strepfen Pomeranch without sugar tablets, you should not drink alcoholic beverages. Strepfen Pomeranch without sugar contains a solution of isomalt and maltitol. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Their effect may be affected by concomitant use of medications for blood thinning, high blood pressure, or pain (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).”
