Active ingredient: levocetirizine dihydrochloride.
1 film-coated tablet contains levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg.
Other Ingredients: Tablet core: lactose monohydrate; prosolv SMCC 90 (microcrystalline cellulose with colloidal anhydrous silica); Magnesium stearate. Coating (Opadry Y-1-7000 or Aqua Polish 010 white): hypromellose; titanium dioxide (E 171); macrogol 400.
Dosage
The tablets should be swallowed whole with a small amount of liquid (for example, water). The tablets can be taken with or without food.
Adults and children over 6 years of age: The usual dose is 1 tablet once a day.
If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.
Do not use the medicine for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.
Action
Zyx Bio has antiallergic properties.
Indications
Zyx Bio is used to treat symptoms associated with: allergic rhinitis (including chronic allergic rhinitis); with beehives.
Contraindications
You should not use Zyx Bio if you are: allergic to levocetirizine dihydrochloride or any active substance with a similar chemical structure (piperazine derivatives, such as hydroxyzine, cinnarizine, flunarizine) or any other ingredient of this medicine; has severe kidney disease (severe renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min).”
