“Compound
1 tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol (Paracetamolum).
List of excipients: Pregelatinized starch, crospovidone, povidone, stearic acid, magnesium stearate.
Indications
Paracetamol Biopharm is used for pain of various origins and intensity. Especially recommended for headaches, migraines, rheumatic, joint, muscle and bone pain, spinal pain, neuralgia, menstrual and toothache. Fever due to cold and/or flu.
Dosage
Adults and teenagers. The maximum daily dose for adults is 4.0 g. Adults usually take 1 to 2 tablets at a time. For persistent pain: 1-2 tablets 2-4 times a day, no more often than every 4 hours. For cancer pain, 10 mg/kg/dose every 4 hours, usually in combination with analgesics of another mechanism of action. Children from 6 to 12 years old. Half the adult dose is given orally, with longer intervals between doses. Children aged 3 months to 6 years. For children aged 3 months to 6 years, paracetamol can be prescribed at a dose of 10 mg/kg at intervals of at least 6 hours. The medicine is administered orally. Paracetamol should not be overused and should not be taken continuously for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or other ingredients of the drug, alcoholism, severe liver or kidney failure.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Epidemiological studies conducted among pregnant women have shown no harmful effects of paracetamol administered in recommended doses.
Paracetamol is excreted in breast milk in quantities of no clinical significance. Available published data do not contain contraindications to breastfeeding while taking the drug.
Like other medicines, paracetamol should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless clearly needed.
