The drug Biogaran borax / boric acid is a solution for ophthalmic washing. This drug is indicated for washing the eyes is, in case of eye irritation in adults and children.
In 1 ml of solution there are 12 mg of Borax and 18 mg of boric acid.
The other components are sodium chloride, rose water concentrate and purified water.
Dosage of Borax Boric acid Biogaran eye wash
The usual dose is 1 to 3 eye washes per day , to be carried out by jet washing, avoiding contact of the single-dose container with the surface of the eye or the eyelids. The excess can be cleaned with a compress or cotton wool. A single-dose can be used to wash both eyes but must be thrown away after use. An opened single-dose container cannot be reused.
If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using this solution.
If several eye drops are to be administered, wait 15 minutes between each instillation.
To continue treatment after 2 days of use, medical advice is necessary. In case of excessive intake of Borax / Boric Acid Biogaran, rinse your eyes with sterile physiological saline and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. In case of ingestion, contact a doctor or poison control center immediately.
