CALPOL 6 Plus 0.25 g/5ml fever pain children, 100ml

Calpol 6 Plus suspension is a drug for use in pain and fever in children from 6 years of age, including colds and flu. Calpol 6 Plus contains paracetamol used in mild to moderate pain, e.g. muscle pain, toothache, headache.

Composition:

The active substance is: paracetamol (Paracetamolum).

5 ml of suspension contains 250 mg of paracetamol.

Excipients: sucrose, sorbitol 70%, dispersed cellulose, glycerol, polysorbate 80, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sugar flavour FP731, orange flavour 510652 E, sunset yellow E 110, purified water.

Indications and action:

• Calpol 6 Plus contains paracetamol, which has antipyretic and analgesic effects. Paracetamol inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system.
• Calopl 6 Plus suspension is administered for fever that accompanies colds, flu or childhood diseases.
• Indications for use of the drug include pain of low or mild intensity, e.g. headache, toothache, muscle, joint and bone pain, pain following surgical and dental procedures.
