It restores proper enzymatic activity, has anti-atherosclerotic properties and increases vascular flow. It reduces the patient’s subjective symptoms such as: lack of appetite, a feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage as a result of an incorrect diet, exposure to toxic substances or in the course of hepatitis.
Indications
Supportive in chronic liver diseases of various etiologies and in conditions following liver damage caused by toxic substances, certain drugs and other factors.
Action
Reduces liver problems caused by improper diet, exposure to toxic substances, and hepatitis.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
1 capsule 3 times a day.
Capsules should be taken with meals, without chewing (e.g. with a glass of water).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, soy, peanuts or any of the excipients.
The medicine is not intended for children under 12 years of age.
Storage
Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store the medicine at a temperature below 25°C.
Side effects
This medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.
Frequency unknown local reactions such as:
erythema, rash, urticaria, pruritus,
gastrointestinal disorders, e.g. nausea, loose stools, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort.
Interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, have recently taken, or might take.
Please consult your doctor before using the drug simultaneously with anticoagulants.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Soybeans are often a food ingredient, and so far no harmful effects on pregnancy have been observed when using them.
However, not enough research has been carried out.
Therefore, the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Before you start using Essentiale Forte, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Due to the content of soybean oil, the drug may cause severe allergic reactions. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to peanuts or soy.
The medicine contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per 1 capsule.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
The expiry date means the last day of the given month.
