“Composition: 1 packet of granules for oral solution containing 25 mg: dexketoprofen in the form of dexketoprofen trometamol salt and ingredients: ammonium glycyrrhizinate, neohesperydyno-dihydrochalcone, quinoline yellow (E 104), lemon flavor, sucrose, colloidal hydrated silicon dioxide. Each sachet contains 2.5 g of sucrose.
Action: anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic.
Dosage: – Adults: The recommended dose is 1 sachet (25 mg) every 8 hours, at least 30 minutes before meals. The total daily dose of 75 mg dexetoprofen should not be used. Use orally. To prepare the solution, the contents of the sachet must be dissolved in a glass of water and mixed well. Drink immediately after preparation.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen, other NSAIDs or any of the excipients; patients in whom substances with a similar mechanism of action (for example, aspirin or other NSAIDs) cause an asthma attack, bronchospasm, acute rhinitis, or cause nasal polyps, urticaria or angioedema; active peptic ulcer or bleeding or suspected, as well as recurrent gastric ulcers or bleeding (two or more separate episodes of proven ulceration or bleeding) or chronic dyspepsia; gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with prior NSAID treatment; bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract or other active bleeding or bleeding-related disorders; Levensky-Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis; bronchial asthma; severe heart failure; moderate or severe renal failure (creatinine clearance <50 ml/min); serious liver problems; hemorrhagic diathesis and other bleeding disorders; Third trimester of pregnancy and lactation. Dexak should not be used in children and adolescents due to a lack of data on safety and effectiveness.
