Pyrrolam is a suspension for topical application to the skin. Pyrrolam contains cyclopiroxolamine with antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. The suspension is used in the treatment of mycoses of smooth and hairy skin, as well as feet and legs. Pirolam is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.
The active ingredient is cyclopiroxolamine (Ciclopirox olaminum).
1 g of skin suspension contains 10 mg of ciclopiroxolamine.
Excipients: propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, lactic acid, macrogol, cetostearyl ether, purified water.
Dosage
Always take this medication exactly as directed in the package insert or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
The drug is applied topically to the skin. After applying the suspension, do not use bandages or patches.
Adults and children over 6 years of age: Apply the suspension twice a day to the affected areas of the skin, lightly rubbing in or allowing to dry.
The optimal duration of treatment is 3 weeks. Pyrrolam should be used until symptoms disappear. To prevent relapse, it is recommended to continue treatment until 10 days after the lesion has disappeared.
If your symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks, contact your doctor again.

Action
Pyrrolam contains cyclopiroxolamine, which acts on dermatitis, yeast-like fungi, mold and mixed fungal infections on the skin. Ciclopirox with olamine is also active against some gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and inhibits the growth of mycoplasmas, trichomonas and chlamydia.
Pyrrolam also has an anti-inflammatory effect, which is especially important during inflammation.
