“COMPOUND
Meloxicam (Meloxicamum), 7.5 mg
Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate 128.4 mg.
Applicable:
for the short-term treatment of exacerbations of symptoms of rheumatoid diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Dosage: 1 tablet per day. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting a doctor. Aspicam Bio should be taken with food, drinking water or other liquid.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The use of the drug is contraindicated in the following cases:
hypersensitivity to meloxicam or to any of the excipients or to substances with a similar effect, for example NSAIDs, acetylsalicylic acid; Meloxicam should not be used in patients with symptoms of asthma, nasal polyps, angioedema and urticaria observed after the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs;
third trimester of pregnancy;
children and adolescents under 15 years of age;
history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation causally related to previous NSAID treatment;
active gastric and/or duodenal ulcer or history of recurrent peptic ulcer and bleeding (two or more separate episodes of documented ulceration or bleeding);
serious liver problems;
severe renal failure in patients not on dialysis;
history of gastrointestinal bleeding, brain bleeding, or other bleeding disorders;
severe heart failure.”
