Action
Symptomatic treatment of allergic skin diseases (urticaria, itching in atopic dermatitis, allergic contact eczema and endogenous eczema) and allergic respiratory diseases (allergic rhinitis), food and drug allergies. Relief of itching due to infectious diseases (including chickenpox), as well as relief of symptoms after insect bites.
Contraindication
Possible side effects: Sometimes headache and dizziness, agitation or drowsiness, gastrointestinal disorders (nausea), dry oral mucosa, hypersensitivity reactions (isolated cases of swelling of the tongue, skin rash, breathing problems, spasms of the muscles of the face and neck).
Tell your doctor: if you have glaucoma, prostate enlargement. When taking sleeping pills, sedatives, drugs from the group of monoamine oxidase inhibitors – MAOIs, antidepressants. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
Use
Orally. Adults and children over 12 years old, 20–40 drops 3 times a day, patients prone to drowsiness, 40 drops before bedtime and 20 drops during breakfast; Infants from 2 months: 3–10 drops 3 times a day. Children 2–3 years old: 10–15 drops 3 times a day. Children 4–12 years old: 15–20 drops 3 times a day.
Drops can be used undiluted or added to milk. Do not use in newborns. The drug should be discontinued several days before skin testing.”
