Dulcosoft Junior is a medical device whose main ingredient is macrogol 4000, an osmotic laxative.
Contents of the package
Composition: 10 ml of solution contains 5 g of macrogol 4000.
Other ingredients: potassium sorbate (preservative), macrogol 400, citric acid, purified water.
Product characteristics
Macrogol 4000 has a high ability to bind water. It is a fluid (water) carrier and delays the absorption of water in the intestines, which leads to an increase in its amount in the colon.
How to use a medical device
Dulcosoft Junior is a solution with a neutral taste. The medical device can be directly mixed with a selected drink, e.g. a glass of water, fruit juice or tea.
Adults and children over 8 years of age: 20-40 ml of solution daily (corresponding to 10-20 g of macrogol 4000), preferably in a single dose taken in the morning.
Children aged 4 to 7 years: 16-32 ml of solution daily (equivalent to 8-16 g of macrogol 4000), preferably in a single dose taken in the morning.
Children aged 2 to 3 years: 8-16 ml of solution daily (equivalent to 4-8 g of macrogol 4000), preferably in a single dose taken in the morning.
Children aged 6 months to 1 year: 8 ml of solution daily (equivalent to 4 g of macrogol 4000), preferably in a single dose taken in the morning.
The dose should be measured using the measuring cup included in the package. The dose can be adjusted depending on the effect achieved.
