Lysopaine lozenges are indicated for adults and children from 6 years old. This medicine contains lysozyme (20 mg) and cetylpyridinium (1.5 mg) to treat mild sore throats
without fever. These Lysopaine lozenges are sugar-free and mint-flavored.
The excipients in these Lysopaine throat lozenges are saccharin, magnesium stearate, a mint flavor (peppermint essential oil, gum arabic) and sorbitol.
Lysopaine dosage for sore throat
The recommended dose of Lysopaine is 3 to 6 lozenges per day spaced at least 2 hours apart. The duration of treatment is limited to 5 days. If symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult a doctor.
Do not give to children under 6 years of age.
