“Normalac is a medicinal product to be used to regulate bowel movements by increasing the water content in the stool.
The active substance is: lactulose (Lactulosum).
15 ml of syrup contains 10 g of lactulose and small amounts of lactose monohydrate (1 g).
The drug also contains trace amounts of other sugars – galactose 1.5 g, tagatose 0.4 g, fructose 0.1 g, epilactose 1.0 g.
Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, cream flavor N.7-bis, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral drug.
The drug should be washed down with water, fruit juice, milk.
When using laxative drugs, you should drink plenty of fluids, i.e. 1.5-2 liters a day.
Normalac should only be given to infants and young children on the recommendation of a doctor as it may interfere with the natural defecation reflex.”
