Monosept 0.25 per mille eye drops are administered as an antiseptic treatment for superficial conditions of the eye and its adnexa.
The active ingredient is Cethexonium bromide 0.1 mg for a single-dose container of 0.4 ml.
The other ingredients are sodium chloride, and water for injections.
Dosage of Monosept antiseptic eye drops
It is recommended to instill one drop of Monosept eye drops, 3 to 4 times a day . In order to put the eye drops, you must look up and pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards.
The single-dose must be renewed with each use and do not touch your eye with the tip of the single-dose.
The duration of treatment is on average 7 days , you should not extend the treatment beyond 15 days.
In case of overdose, rinse with sterile physiological saline.
