“Composition
100 g of Rub-Arom ointment contains: thymol (Thymolum) 0.25 g, levomenthol (Levomentholum) 2.75 g, racemic camphor (Camphora racemica) 5.00 g, cedar oil (Cedri oleum) 0.75 g, eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti oleum) 1.50 g, turpentine oil from maritime pine (Terebinthini aetheroleum ab pinum pinastrum) 5.00 g and excipients: solid paraffin and white petrolatum.
Dosage
The drug is only suitable for external use on the skin. To lubricate and rub 1 to 2 times a day. Do not use the ointment for longer than a few days.
Adults:
Rub painful areas with an amount of ointment equivalent to 2 measuring cups (3 g).
Youth from 12 years:
Rub the skin of the back and chest with an amount of ointment corresponding to 2 measuring cups (3 g).
Children from 7 to 12 years:
Rub the skin of the back and chest with an amount of ointment corresponding to 1 measuring spoon (1.5 g).
Apply the appropriate amount of ointment in a thin layer to the skin and rub gently until fully absorbed.
A measuring cup is included in the package. 1 measuring spoon corresponds to 1.5 g of ointment.
Indications
The Rub-Arom medicinal product is indicated for external use.
It is used for rubbing in muscle pain (muscle strains, painful muscle spasms), joint pain and neuralgia (radiculitis, sciatica).
Rub-Arom is used supportively to rub the chest and back in upper respiratory tract infections (flu, colds) accompanied by a runny nose, cough and muscle and joint pain.
Contraindications
Rub-Arom should not be used if the patient is allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of the drug, and in addition:
