Action
Ionolit is a powder preparation for the preparation of an oral rehydration fluid with reduced osmolarity and sodium content, the composition of which complies with ESPGHAN recommendations. In states of dehydration, regardless of the cause, the water and electrolyte balance is disturbed. It is then necessary to supplement the diet with glucose and minerals in appropriate proportions. Glucose facilitates the absorption of sodium ions in the small intestine. Sodium and potassium regulate the body’s water management. Citrate ions correct the pH decreased due to dehydration, preventing excessive acidification of the body.
Dosage
The sachet should be opened and its contents dissolved in 200 ml of warm, boiled water. Cool before serving. The prepared solution should not be sweetened. The liquid should be consumed immediately after preparation. The solution is not suitable for consumption 24 hours after preparation. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
