“The active substance is paracetamol.
The other ingredients are: citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), xanthan gum, purified water, orange flavor [natural flavors, artificial flavors, ethanol, butylhydroxyanisole (E 320)] .
Indications:
APAP for children FORTE is intended for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in children weighing up to 40 kg (approximately from 0 months to 12 years), children over 12 years, adolescents and adults (including people in elderly).
Dosage:
Dosage should be based primarily on the patient’s body weight. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg/kg body weight/day, which is divided into 4 to 6 doses per day, i.e. 15 mg/kg body weight every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg body weight every 4 hours.
In children under 3 months of age, the drug is used only if recommended by a doctor. The exact amount of APAP for children FORTE should be administered using the 5 ml oral syringe (graduated every 0.25 ml) or the 6 ml oral syringe (graduated every 0.25 ml) included in the package.
After use, the oral syringe should be rinsed several times up to the nozzle (filling it with water).
In case of high fever (>39°C), symptoms of infection or prolonged symptoms lasting longer than 2 days, contact your doctor. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose, but take the dose of APAP for children FORTE at the usual time.

Store at temperatures below 30˚C. Store in the original package in order to protect from light.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
You should stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor if you experience allergic reactions (allergy) to paracetamol, such as: Quincke’s edema (swelling of the face, neck and genitals), shortness of breath (shortness of breath), profuse sweating (intensified sweating), nausea or drop in blood pressure.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and bottle label after EXP. The expiry date means the last day of a given month.
Validity period: 3 years. The oral suspension should be used within 6 months of first opening the bottle.”
