“Composition
The active substance is ibuprofen. 1 capsule contains 200 mg of ibuprofen. Additionally, the drug contains: macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide, purified water; coating: gelatin, non-crystallizing liquid sorbitol, liquid maltitol, patent blue (E 131), purified water.
Dosage
Orally. The preparation should be used after a meal with plenty of fluid. Children from 6 – 9 years (20-29 kg): 1 capsule every 8 hours (as needed). No more than 3 capsules a day.
Children from 10 to 12 years (30-39 kg): 1 capsule every 6 hours (as needed). No more than 4 capsules a day. Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1-2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours. No more than 6 capsules a day. Ibufen Junior is intended for emergency use – if symptoms persist, intensify or new symptoms occur, consult a doctor.
Indications
Pain of various origins with mild to moderate intensity: – headaches (including migraine), – toothache, – muscle, joint and bone pain, – pain after injuries, – neuralgia,
– pain associated with colds and flu, – painful menstruation, – ear pain occurring in inflammation of the middle ear. Febrile states of various origins (including flu, colds or other infectious diseases).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the excipients. Active or recurrent gastric and/or duodenal ulcer or history of bleeding (two or more independent episodes of confirmed ulceration or bleeding). History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID treatment.
In patients with severe liver failure, severe renal failure, coronary artery disease or severe heart failure. Children weighing less than 20 kg. In patients with cerebrovascular bleeding or other active bleeding. In patients with bleeding diathesis or unexplained disorders of the hematopoietic system.
In patients with severe dehydration (caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake). Last trimester of pregnancy.
