“Gentian is used primarily for inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, cuts, wounds and ulcers. The drug leaves a characteristic purple tint on the skin.
Indications
Disinfection and disinfection for skin inflammations, weeping wounds and ulcers.
Active ingredient: Methylrosanilinium chloride.
Compound
100 g of liquid contains
1 g methylrosaniline chloride (Mmethylrosanilinii loridum) (gentian violet)
List of excipients: ethanol 96%, purified water.
Dosage
Application to skin. Wipe the affected areas of the skin with a cotton pad soaked in liquid.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to gentian violet or any ingredient of the drug.
Do not use directly on open wounds as this will mask the injury.
Do not use on mucous membranes.
Do not use for deep and extensive skin lesions requiring emergency surgical care.
