Composition of Sinekod drops
The active ingredient of Sinekod is butamirate citrate. 1 ml of solution (20 drops) contains 5 mg of butamirate citrate.
Excipients: sorbitol solution 70%, sodium saccharin, vanillin, benzoic acid, ethanol 96% by volume, glycerin, sodium hydroxide solution 30%, purified water.
Dosage of Sinekod drops
The usual dose is:
Children aged 2 months to 1 year: 10 drops four times a day;
Children from 1 year to 3 years: 15 drops four times a day;
Children over 3 years old: 25 drops four times a day.
In children aged 2 months to 2 years, Sinecod drops can only be used on the recommendation of a doctor.
Sinekod oral drops should not be used in children under 2 months of age.
The medicine should be used for the shortest period of time necessary to relieve symptoms. Do not take Sinecode for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
