The active ingredient of the drug is liquid lactulose.

Dosage

Recommended dose
To dose the medication, use the measuring cup included in the package. This allows you to measure the exact dose.
Adults:
The usual initial daily dose (the first three days) is 45 ml of syrup taken once before breakfast or 15 ml 3 times a day before meals. After achieving the effect, use a maintenance dose of 15 ml of syrup on an empty stomach.
Children over 3 years old:
initially from 5 to 15 ml of syrup per day, the dose can be gradually increased every 3 days until the desired effect is achieved.
Children under 3 years old:
initially 5 ml of syrup per day, the dose can be gradually increased every 3 days until normal stool is achieved.
Children
initially 2.5 ml of syrup per day, the dose can be gradually increased every 3 days until normal stool is achieved.
If abdominal bloating occurs, the dose should be reduced to a level that is tolerated by the child.
Hepatic encephalopathy
Adults:
120–180 ml of syrup per day in 3–4 doses.
Large doses of the drug used for hepatic encephalopathy may cause diarrhea. The dose should be adjusted so that the amount of loose stool does not exceed 2–3 per day.
Lactulose is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract in an amount of 0.2%, so there is no need to change the dosage in patients with renal failure.
Mode of application
The medicine should be taken orally.
The medicine can be taken with water, fruit juices or milk.
