Acuspot 5% benzoyl peroxide gel is a topical anti-acne medication . It is used in the treatment of very mild acne in adults and adolescents, from 12 years of age . Very mild acne is characterized by the presence of rare blackheads or small cysts and rare inflammatory lesions (red, sensitive, with or without pus).
This medicine contains hydrated benzoyl peroxide, in an amount corresponding to 5 g of anhydrous benzoyl peroxide per 100 g of gel. The other ingredients of this medicine are Carbomer 940, disodium edetate, sodium docusate, colloidal anhydrous silica, propylene glycol, poloxamer 182, 10% sodium hydroxide solution, glycerol, methacrylic copolymer and purified water.
