Deflegmin Junior in the form of a syrup is a drug that reduces the secretion of the upper respiratory tract. It increases the secretion of mucus in the respiratory tract and improves its transport. This results in easier expectoration of mucus and soothes coughing. Deflegmin increases the secretion of mucus in the respiratory tract and improves its transport, thus facilitating expectoration and soothing cough.
Indications
Deflegmin Junior is used in acute and chronic lung and bronchial diseases with difficulty expectoration of viscous secretions from the respiratory tract.
5 ml of syrup contains 15 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxoli hydrochloridum).
Excipient with known effect: sorbitol (500 mg in 1 ml of syrup).
DOSAGE
Adults and children over 1 year of age:
- in adults and children over 12 years of age: initially, for 2 to 3 days, 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day, then the dose should be reduced to 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day;
- in children from 6 to 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 2 to 3 times a day;
- in children from 2 to 6 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day;
- in children from 1 to 2 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 2 times a day.
