Islaherb syrup is a medical device in the form of a syrup that, when swallowed, coats the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, creating a mucoadhesive film that protects against the irritating influence of external factors (e.g. bacteria, viruses). The medical device contains natural extracts of Icelandic lichen, mallow and linden, rich in mucous substances that coat both the oral cavity and the throat, protecting and covering the sensory nerve endings responsible for causing sore throat and cough reflex. The sodium hyaluronate contained in the medical device (a component of the formed film) additionally intensively moisturizes the dried and irritated mucous membrane, bringing relief. The medical device is made on the basis of natural apple and chokeberry juice concentrates and does not contain any additional sugar or sweeteners. The product also does not contain artificial colors or preservatives, so it can be safely used for a long time. The product is safe for adults and children over 1 year of age.
Indications
Medical device Islaherb syrup is used to adequately protect and moisturize the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. By coating and moisturizing the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, the syrup soothes the feeling of dryness, burning, sore throat, especially when swallowing. It also relieves the symptoms of dry cough and hoarseness.
It is recommended to use the product: supportively during the treatment of inflammations in the mouth and throat of various etiologies, e.g. pharyngitis, tonsillitis, aphthae; to relieve the symptoms of dry cough and hoarseness; in the case of people overloading the vocal cords (teachers, singers, speakers, announcers); in people with dry mouth; in people particularly exposed to the influence of harmful external factors such as: dry, air-conditioned, cold or polluted air.
Composition
Purified water, apple juice concentrate, chokeberry juice concentrate, mallow leaf extract, Icelandic lichen extract, linden flower extract, xanthan gum, sodium hyaluronate.
Dosage
Children from 1 to 3 years: 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Children from 3 to 10 years: 15 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Adults and children over 10 years of age: 20 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Product for oral use. Shake before use. Fill the enclosed measuring cup with the appropriate volume of syrup and drink it slowly. The product should be used within 2 weeks of opening.
