Drug substance and its quantity
The active ingredient of suppositories is econazole nitrate. One suppository contains 50 mg or 150 mg (milligram) of econazole nitrate.
The active ingredient of the cream is econazole nitrate. 100 g (grams) contains 1.0 g of econazole nitrate.
How to use
For three days in a row, insert one suppository deep into the vagina, preferably in the evening while lying down. If the symptoms of the disease do not disappear after treatment or the condition worsens during treatment, consult a doctor.
Before use, especially in hot weather, store the suppository and cream in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. After inserting the suppository into the vagina, lie on your back for about 20 minutes. After insertion into the vagina, the vaginal suppository softens under the influence of body temperature and evenly covers the entire surface of the mucous membrane.
The cream in GYNO-PEVARYL 150 Combipack is intended for treating the vaginal area, anal area and treating the partner. The treated area should be washed once a day with warm water, dried, and then applied with a thin layer of cream. Always start cream treatment at the same time as using vaginal suppositories and continue until the entire package of cream is used up.

Women using oral anticoagulants (drugs that reduce blood clotting) containing drugs such as warfarin and acenocoumarol require increased caution and physician monitoring of the anticoagulant effect of these drugs while being treated with GINO-PEVARIL.”
