Synthol solution is an analgesic medication with local action, based on a salicylated molecule and other substances, for a revulsive effect.
Synthol liquid is used for cutaneous application in adults and children over 7 years old in the adjunctive treatment of benign trauma ( bruises , blows ) and insect bites.
For 100 g of solution:
Levomenthol = 0.2600 g
Veratrole = 0.2600 g
Resorcinol = 0.0210 g
Salicylic acid = 0.0105 g
The other components are: rose geranium essential oil, citron essential oil, quinoline yellow (E104) , 96% ethanol and purified water.
Alcohol strength: 35.0° C (V/V).
