Macrogol 3350. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavor, sodium saccharin. Does not contain gluten.
Indications
Particularly indicated in the case of chronic constipation and in sporadic cases of irregular intestinal function.
Action
Thanks to its hydrophilic properties, DICOPEG JUNIOR FREE softens the stool, making it easier to defecate and does not cause cramps, abdominal pain or sudden urgency. The effectiveness of the product does not decrease over time.
Dosage
It is advisable to use DICOPEG JUNIOR FREE in children in accordance with the following rules, unless the doctor recommends otherwise:
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): 1-2 sachets a day
From 2 to 11 years of age (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 2-4 sachets a day
Over 11 years of age (or > 20 kg): 2-6 sachets per day
Dissolve the sachet (5 g) in approximately 62.5 ml of water or other liquid such as tea, milk, herbal infusions, broth or fruit juices. The daily dose can be taken in several administrations. You can dissolve all sachets intended for a given day in an appropriate amount of liquid and place the solution in a closed container in the refrigerator for no longer than 24 hours. It is recommended to take DICOPEG JUNIOR FREE long intervals after meals.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol (polyethylene glycol). Do not use if there is any damage to the stomach or intestines. Single-use product: do not use part of the contents of the sachet or the product from a previously opened sachet (exposure to the risk of product contamination).
