Xylodex 0.05% regeneration, applied to the nasal mucosa, reduces swelling and hyperemia, reduces the amount of secretion and facilitates its outflow from the sinuses.
Xylodex 0.05% regeneration accelerates wound healing and is involved in the process of regeneration of the nasal mucosa.
Xylodex 0.05% regeneration cleanses the nose and supports the regeneration of the nasal mucosa.
Xylodex 0.05% regeneration is intended for children aged 2 to 6 years.
Indications
Xylodex 0.05% regeneration is used:
for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion due to colds (rhinitis);
after nasal surgery to stimulate healing of the mucous membrane and improve nasal patency.
Active ingredient: dexpanthenol, xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Compound
The active ingredients of the drug are: xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexopanthenol. Each dose of nasal spray contains 0.05 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg dexopanthenol.
Other Ingredients: Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate; potassium dihydrogen phosphate; benzalkonium chloride solution; Distilled water.
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Use the medicine only in the nose.
Xylodex 0.05% regeneration is administered to the child only by the caregiver.
For hygienic reasons, the drug packaging should only be used by one patient.
The medicine should not be used for more than 7 days. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.
Do not use doses higher than those listed below.
Children from 2 to 6 years old
One spray into each nostril once or twice daily (every 8-10 hours). Do not administer more than 3 doses into each nostril per day (for a total of 6 doses per day).
Mode of application
Remove the protective cap.
Before the first injection, press the pump several times until a mist of product appears. There is no need to press the pump several times during the next injection.
Insert the tip of the pump into your nostril.
Hold the bottle upright and press the pump to spray a dose of medication into your nose.
Repeat the steps, injecting the medicine into the other nostril.
Replace the protective cap after use.
Using a higher than recommended dose of Xylodex 0.05% for regeneration.
If your caregiver gives your child more than the recommended dose (overdose) or accidentally gives your child medication by mouth, call your doctor right away.
In case of overdose, the following may occur:
late students;
nausea, vomiting;
blue discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes, including lips (cyanosis);
fever, convulsions;
fast and irregular heartbeat;
increased blood pressure (symptoms: for example, constant severe headache, especially in the back of the head; weakness, malaise);
increased drowsiness;
irregular breathing or difficulty breathing;
mental disorders;
speech disturbances or slurred speech;
incoherence of movements (impaired body coordination);
decrease in body temperature;
slow pulse;
sudden drop in blood pressure;
apnea;
coma.
If you forget to use Xylodex 0.05% regeneration
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose, and do not use more than 3 doses in each nostril per day.

Contraindications
Do not use Xylodex 0.05% regeneration:
if you have an allergy (eg, rash, swelling of the face and throat, shortness of breath) to xylometazoline hydrochloride, dexopanthenol, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
in children under 2 years of age;
if you have recently had neurosurgery (on the brain) or nasal surgery (for example, removal of the pituitary gland);
if you have defects or changes in the nasal mucosa.”
