Recommended Use
Niquitin mini 4 mg is suitable for people who smoke more than 20 cigarettes per day. The tablet is placed in the mouth and allowed to dissolve. It is placed on the face and repeatedly moved from one side of the mouth to the other until completely dissolved (about 10 minutes). The lollipops should not be chewed or swallowed whole. Do not eat or drink while the lozenge is in your mouth.
1. Quit smoking immediately: Start by taking 8-12 lozenges a day. Take the lozenge whenever you feel like smoking. Take these lozenges for up to 6 weeks, then gradually reduce the amount throughout the day. When 1-2 lozenges per day is enough for you, you can stop using them.
2. Gradual cessation of smoking. If an irresistible desire to smoke arises, Niquitin mini-tablets are used instead of a cigarette to help cope with this desire. Reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke per day as much as possible. When the number of cigarettes you smoke is reduced enough that you can quit smoking, you can follow step 1.​”
