Acatar Care Kids nasal spray is a medicine intended for children aged 1 to 6 years. The medicinal product contains oxymetazoline, which reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane and the amount of secretion produced, which in turn facilitates breathing. The medicine also contains hyaluronic acid that moisturizes the mucous membrane.

Acatar Care Kids is used to treat swelling of the mucous membranes occurring in acute rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, eustachian tube inflammation, and otitis media.
Acatar Care Kids nasal spray contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which narrows blood vessels. As a result, the drug reduces the swelling of the inflamed mucosa and inhibits excessive secretion production, which helps you breathe freely through the nose. Moreover, thanks to less congestion of the nasal mucosa, it also causes the opening and expansion of the drainage ducts of the paranasal sinuses. This allows the eustachian tube to be unblocked and the secretion to be removed more easily and the bacterial infection to be cured. The effect of oxymetazoline occurs within a few minutes after administration and lasts up to 12 hours.
Additionally, Acatar Care Kids contains hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt as an excipient, which protects and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.
Composition:
The active substance is oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
1 ml of solution contains 0.25 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride. 1 dose of aerosol with a volume of 45 µl contains 11.25 µg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Excipients: glycerol 85%, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hyaluronate, hydrochloric acid 25% (to adjust the pH), sodium hydroxide (to adjust the pH), water for injections. 1 dose of 45 microliters of aerosol contains 11.25 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
Use:
Acatar Care Kids is administered intranasally, also in cases of inflammation of the eustachian tube or middle ear. For hygiene reasons, the spray bottle should only be used to treat one person.
The dosage of Acatar Care Kids for children aged 1 to 6 is 1 dose of spray into each nostril 2 to 3 times a day. Without consulting a doctor, do not use for longer than 5, maximum 7 days.
