“Indications
In adults and children aged 2 years and older:
relief of nasal and eye symptoms associated with seasonal and chronic allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, itchy nose, nasal congestion, red and itchy eyes, watery eyes);
relief of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (such as itching, hives, redness of the skin).
Active ingredient: calcium chloride, cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Compound
5 ml of syrup contains:
2.5 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride (Cetirizini dihydrochloride),
58 mg of calcium ions in the form of calcium chloride dihydrate (Calcii chloridum dihydricum).
Excipient with known effect: sucrose 2.852 g/5 ml.
Dosage
Oral administration. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 20 ml of syrup once a day. Take the product an hour before meals with plenty of liquid. It is not recommended to drink dairy drinks.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Children from 2 to 6 years old: 5 ml of syrup twice a day. Children from 6 to 12 years old: 10 ml of syrup twice a day.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, calcium chloride or any of the excipients.
Hypersensitivity to hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives.
Increased calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia, for example in patients with hypervitaminosis D, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, cancers that cause bone metastases, such as plasmacytoma).
Hypercalciuria.
Galactosemia.
Stones in the kidneys.
Moderate or severe kidney problems.
Atrioventricular block.”
